Rourkela Market allows users to create an account within the mobile application.
In compliance with Google Play’s User Data policies, users can request deletion of their account and associated personal data at any time.

How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account using one of the following methods:

Option 1: Delete Directly from the Mobile App

  1. Open the Rourkela Market mobile app.
  2. Go to Profile.
  3. Tap Update Profile.
  4. Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
  5. Select Delete Account.
  6. Confirm the deletion request.

Once confirmed, your deletion request will be processed.

Option 2: Request Deletion via Email

If you are unable to access the app, you may request account deletion by emailing us:

Please send the request from your registered email address and include:

  • Your Full Name
  • Registered Mobile Number
  • Registered Email Address

Our support team will verify and process your request.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

When your account deletion request is processed:

  • Your profile information is permanently deleted.
  • Saved addresses are removed.
  • Wallet balance is forfeited and cleared.
  • Loyalty points are removed.
  • App login access is revoked.

Data Retention Information

Certain information may be retained for a limited period where required for:

  • Legal obligations
  • Tax and accounting compliance
  • Fraud prevention
  • Dispute resolution

Order records may be retained in anonymized form for compliance purposes, but they will no longer be linked to your personal identity.

Processing Time

Account deletion requests are processed within 7 business days of confirmation.

You will receive a confirmation once your account has been successfully deleted.
